Design & Build
The Honor X400 Pro combines a slim 8.1mm profile, curved edges, balanced 205g weight distribution, and matte-style finish to create a more comfortable in-hand experience during long daily usage. Despite carrying a large 6000mAh Silicon-Carbon battery and flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the phone feels surprisingly manageable because curved designs naturally improve grip comfort and ergonomics.
The IP68/IP69 rating adds strong protection against dust, accidental splashes, rain, and water exposure, helping improve long-term durability confidence during travel and everyday use.
Small features like NFC, stereo speakers, infrared blaster, optical in-display fingerprint sensor, and eSIM support quietly improve the overall flagship convenience experience.

Display Experience
The Honor X400 Pro features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR Vivid support, 1B colors, 5000 nits peak brightness, and ~460 PPI sharpness. In simple words, scrolling feels smoother, colors look richer, Netflix and HDR streaming feel more cinematic, and outdoor visibility remains strong even under bright sunlight.
A major hidden premium feature is the 3840Hz PWM dimming technology, which helps reduce visible flickering during low-brightness usage. This improves nighttime comfort and reduces eye fatigue during longer viewing sessions, especially for users sensitive to screen flickering.
Combined with strong contrast, HDR rendering, and high brightness capability, the display feels highly enjoyable for movies, social media, gaming, and everyday entertainment.

The 200MP sensor improves detail retention, cropping flexibility, HDR processing, and image clarity, helping photos remain sharper even after zooming or social media compression. Honor’s AI processing focuses on scene enhancement, HDR balancing, AI sharpening, and producing clearer, more visually vibrant photos that feel ready for instant sharing.
The 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS also improves portrait realism by creating better facial proportions, stronger subject separation, and more natural compression. In simple words, telephoto cameras help faces look more natural by reducing the stretched appearance often seen from regular phone cameras.
During daylight photography, the camera system focuses on vibrant HDR colors, balanced dynamic range, and dependable detail retention. In low light, OIS stabilization, AI enhancement, and HDR processing help maintain usable detail and balanced brightness for everyday night photography.
The dual 50MP selfie setup is designed around portrait selfies, video calls, skin tone balance, and social-media-friendly results, while 4K recording with OIS + Gyro-EIS helps produce smoother handheld videos for casual creators and daily content capture.
